Question 1: From what age can I get a tattoo?

A: Anyone over 18 years old who is not currently enrolled in high school (please present photo ID) can get tattooed. It is illegal to tattoo anyone under 18 in Japan, even with parental consent.

Question 2: What kind of clothing should I wear?

A: We have protective sheets to prevent stains, but in the unlikely event that the ink splashes and stains you, please wear clothing that you don't mind getting dirty.

Question 3: What is the inside of the studio like?

A: The tattoo space and reception are separate, and 2 of the 6 booths have privacy curtains.

Question 4: Can I not have an MRI if I have a tattoo?

A: Yes, you can have an MRI. I've had it done many times without any problems. If you are worried, please consult your doctor.

Question 5: I'm pregnant, can I get a tattoo?

A: Some tattoo ink gets into the bloodstream. There is no scientific evidence to support the idea that it is good or bad, so please refrain from getting one. We do not tattoo pregnant people.

Question 6: Can I get a tattoo if I'm tanned?

A: Avoid tanning for two weeks before and after getting a tattoo.

Question 7: What should I be careful of before the treatment?

A: Please avoid drinking alcohol the day before. Avoid being hungry on the day of the treatment and get a good night's sleep.

Question 8: Can I get tattooed on the day?

A: Yes, depending on availability and the design.

Question 9: Is it okay to go with a friend?

A: Of course it's okay.

Question 10: Does it hurt?

A: The pain level varies from person to person, but the areas that hurt less are the outside of the arms, while the areas that hurt more are the lower back, buttocks, top of the feet, elbows, and other areas with less fat.

Question 11: Do you accept credit cards?

A: Yes, we do, but there is an extra 10% charge, so we recommend bringing cash.

Question 12: Can I tip my artist?

A: Yes, you can. Tips are never expected but always appreciated.
